The short version: WristSignal gives you market signals and value estimates to help you make your own buying and selling decisions. These are estimates based on public listing data — not appraisals, not financial advice, and not a guarantee. Use them as one input, do your own due diligence, and the final decision is yours.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and WristSignal ("WristSignal," "we," "us," or "our") governing your use of the WristSignal Chrome browser extension, the website at wristsignal.com, our API at api.wristsignal.com, and any reports, signals, alerts, collection tracking, or other features we provide (together, the "Service"). By installing the extension, purchasing a report pass, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
WristSignal analyzes publicly available watch listing and sold-price data from sources such as eBay, Chrono24, and Reddit to produce market signals (for example "Buy," "Fair," "Watch," or "Skip"), value estimates, and related reports. It can also send optional price-drop alerts and track a collection of watches you choose to add. The Service is an informational tool to assist your own research — it does not buy, sell, authenticate, appraise, insure, or broker watches, and it is not a party to any transaction you enter into with a third party.
This is the most important thing to understand about the Service. All signals, value estimates, medians, "save up to $X" figures, and report verdicts are automated estimates derived from third-party data that may be incomplete, delayed, mispriced, or inaccurate. They are provided for general informational purposes only and are:
Watch markets move, individual listings vary in condition and completeness, and counterfeits exist. You are solely responsible for your own due diligence — including verifying authenticity, condition, and price — and for any decision you make to buy, sell, or pass on a watch. Do not rely on the Service as your only source of information.
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to purchase a report pass. You agree not to:
We may suspend or terminate access for any violation of these Terms, without notice and without refund where the violation warrants it.
Some features require a paid report pass (for example a single-report pass or a time-limited pass). Prices are shown at checkout. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store your full card details. By purchasing, you authorize the charge shown at checkout and confirm the billing information you provide is accurate.
Refund policy. Because a report pass delivers digital analysis immediately on purchase, sales are generally final. However, if the Service failed to deliver your report, charged you in error, or you are otherwise unsatisfied, contact us at hello@wristsignal.com within 7 days of purchase and we will review your request and, where appropriate, issue a refund. We aim to resolve billing problems fairly and promptly.
A pass grants a personal, non-transferable right to use the paid features for the stated scope or duration. Passes have no cash value and are not exchangeable except as described above or as required by law.
Deal alerts and collection tracking are optional and email-based — no account or password is created. If you provide an email address to use them, you confirm it is yours and that you consent to receive the alert and summary messages you requested. Every such email includes a one-click link to cancel. We may cap or pause these features to protect against abuse. We do not guarantee that any alert will be sent, delivered, or timely, and a missed or delayed alert is not a basis for liability.
The Service, including the extension, website, software, report layouts, branding, and the WristSignal name and logo, is owned by WristSignal and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for its intended purpose. Underlying listing and price data originates with third parties and remains subject to their rights. You may use a report you purchased for your own personal decision-making; you may not redistribute or commercialize it.
The Service analyzes and links to third-party marketplaces and sites (such as eBay, Chrono24, and Reddit) and relies on third-party providers (such as Stripe for payments and Resend for email). We do not control and are not responsible for those third parties, their content, listings, sellers, availability, or practices. Any transaction you enter into with a seller is solely between you and that seller.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that any signal, estimate, or data will be accurate, complete, current, or reliable. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so some of the above may not apply to you.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, WristSignal and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, savings, data, goodwill, or for any amount you paid or lost on a watch purchase or sale, arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) the Service or reliance on any signal, estimate, or report — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) USD $50.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless WristSignal and its operators from any claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your misuse of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We may also update these Terms from time to time; when we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above, and material changes take effect when posted. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that the state and federal courts located in California will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there, except where prohibited by applicable law.
